In October 2015, the pastor and his wife who oversee Emmanuel House of Hope (Coreluv’s partnering orphanage in Gonaives, Haiti) learned of a five-year-old girl named Loudianise who was in desperate need of a loving home.
Loudianise is one of nine children that her mother could not properly care for and her father was nowhere to be found. She was not able to attend school because her mother did not have the resources to provide for even her most basic needs. Because no one could properly care for her and because she was without a loving home, she was very vulnerable to disease, abuse, and malnourishment. This heart-breaking reality brought her to Emmanuel House of Hope.
When she arrived at the orphanage, Loudianise did not have proper clothes, was very sick, and severely malnourished. Pastor Jean and his family knew this was a desperate situation and there was no question that Loudianise needed to come to their orphanage where she could be loved and cared for as every child should be.
Today, Loudianise loves to sing with the other girls and sings in church. She is now full of life and receiving the childhood that every child deserves. Thank you for helping to provide for her six basics needs through your partnership with Emmanuel House of Hope!
Every donation made now through the end of the year is doubled, going further to help us to continue to bring the love of Jesus by providing the six basic needs of clean water, proper food, healthcare, education, job skills, and loving home. As a thank you for any donation we will send you our new 2018 Coreluv Calendar.
